1. I can't believe it, but this is only my 12th blog post of the month. That's a record low! I was trying to think of why I haven't blogged a lot this month and I think the reason is because we've been busy doing the same old things: playing outside, swimming in the kiddie pool, going to the park. We haven't done many blog-worthy things. I guess I'll have to try to branch out in July. :)
2. Last Friday Gabby and Emily came over for some pool time. There was some swingset time, too. And as Emily found out, some bug-biting time. Lucky her! (sorry, Emily). That is the only downside to living by the woods.

3. Clare has a hard time keeping up the girls and found that she would rather be pushed in the swing. While this is not new, I was growing tired of pushing her. Now Clare has a new best friend- Miss Emily. She had her giggling like crazy!

4. My new best friend is Gabby. She is such a ham! I could take pictures of her all day, and she might actually let me (unlike my children who run and hide when I take their pictures). Not only is Gabby completely and udderly adorable, she is such a sweetheart. I may have to borrow her someday to practice using my camera!

5. This past weekend Fishers held the 21st annual Freedom Festival. I had mentioned weeks ago that I was going to walk a 5K in May, but we just couldn't find one that fit into our schedule. Luckily we were able to do the Freedom Festival 5K, and it was great! The weather was gorgeous and Holly walked with me while Keith ran. The girls were perfect! We are hoping to do a few more 5Ks this year.

6. You might notice that the girls are in separate strollers. There are two reasons for this: First, they don't fight when they are separated. Second, our double stroller BROKE! Yep, one of the wheels completely broke off while another one is on its way out. Luckily we were able to order three replacements so we are hoping to save the stroller. I don't know what I will do without it!
7. Saturday evening we went back to the festival and walked around for a bit. They have a free children's tent, and if the girls hadn't been so hungry I think we could've stayed there all night. We only got to 3 of the 8 activities, but they were able to make glitter pictures, colored sand figures, and suncatchers.

(I think Clare got more glitter on her face than her picture!) :)
8. We walked around the fair and got a snack for the girls. I would have loved to walk through and see what the vendors were peddling, but the girls were growing more hungry and more tired by the second, so we had to leave. Maybe next year.

9. We are going on vacation in 19 days! Woohoo!
10. Speaking of vacation, Keith's annual business retreat is at Walt Disney World next January. He will be in meetings for three days over Martin Luther King weekend, but we'd like to extend our vacation so that he can have some fun with us (the girls and I will be going with him). At first we thought we'd leave Disney and go to the beach, but now we are thinking about staying around Disney for a few days. For those of you who've "done" Disney, do you have any recommendations? During the meeting his company will be paying for our room, but if we stay there on our own we will move to a less expensive hotel. Anyway, we'd love to know if there is a good place to stay at Disney (we were thinking about the Carribbean hotel with the sandy beach for the girls to play on). Also, if anyone knows of any good websites to help us plan our trip we'd love those links! Thanks!
:)

Love your "Ten on Tuesday" posts!
On Disney...you might consider renting a house near Disney...so much cheaper than an on-site hotel and many of them have pools/hot tubs in the back yards. We rented a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house a couple of years ago for 4 days and would do it again in a heart beat! Google Orlando Rental Houses and you'll come up with a ton of options.
If you want to head to the beach...we love Coco Beach on the Atlantic side or Clearwater/St. Pete on the Gulf Side.
Great Ten on Tuesday post! I loved all of the pictures--esp. the ones outside in your backyard. I LOVE your backyard!!!
I really liked allears.net and the moms' panel on the Disney site. Both of these were very helpful in finding restaurants to eat in and around the parks--esp. with Ryan's food allergies and Reese's picky eating. :) I saved some of our stuff (maps, itinerary, etc.), so let me know if you want to borrow anything!
Bummer about your double stroller. I know when my girls were your girls ages we lived in ours (saved on rent, too...LOL). Hopefully the replacement parts will be here soon.
I am a Gabby lover too. She is such a ham and camera loves her.
Great pics from the freedom festival. Looks like the girls loved the crafts :)
This post was so sweet, Kelly! Gabby does tend to tell even random strangers, "Bye! I love you!" I have to say at your house, she means it! She loves your girls and you as well. You could tell how heartbroken she was when I left on Monday. Riiight.
You can take photos of my kid anytime you want as long as you clarify for me if she is "udderly" adorable or "utterly" adorable.
The picture of Gabby is adorable!! She is a sweetheart. It's so neat that all three girls get along so well (and their mamas).
